Lovely place for breakfast! I tried many places during my visit but this is definitely the best one. Other places often come with problems such as salty flavor or overcooked food, but this place provide balance flavor and proper cooked things. Delicious food and friendly staff. I’m not a cinnamon fan but their cinnamon roll taste really nice, to be honest I want to say this is the best cinnamon food I tried ever! SLC is a beautiful city, Straw Market is a lovely cafe!

Staff members were very friendly, atmosphere was relaxed, prices were great and food was simple but done VERY WELL. I had the grinder sandwich with ham and it was delicious! I loved that they didn’t over cook the veggies. Everything tasted fresh. My husband and I loved the cinnamon rolls. They were fluffy and the perfect amount of sweetness. We will be back regularly.

This was close to where we were staying and had good reviews so we thought we'd try it. I ordered a crepe w Nutella and bananas and my husband hot a plate w an egg, hashbrowns and bacon. All of it tasted good to us. The person that took our order, I'm guessing, was the owner and she was super nice to us and everyone that came in. Several people came in for cinnamon rolls to-go while we were there. This place must be known for them. We were tempted to get one to take w us but we were just too stuffed. After bfast we took a nice stroll through the Avenues neighborhood and kind of walked off our bloat. Great place and we would love to go there again. They are only open until about 3pm and do offer sandwiches at lunchtime.

This community store has a distinctive feature. The food is delicious and the interior environment is very comfortable. Most of the walls are made of glass, providing great sunlight and a wonderful view. I like the Denver set meal.

Great experience! We were looking for an affordable eatery after spending so much in SLC and we were so surprised to see the bill was less than half that we would pay at other places. Wonderful service and friendly conversation by the woman working the register and the cook. She genuinely cared that we patroning the Straw Market! We got 3 3 cinnamon rolls (which are vegan-friendly) and I ordered the vegan burrito with hashbrown and veggies - make sure to ask for salsa on the side as it enhances the flavor! We loved this place - one of our fav restaurants in SLC!!

We are in town for a soccer tournament and needed lunch after our beautiful hike! We looked up a few places and landed on Straw Market! Boy am I glad we did! The most friendly staff, DELICIOUS food, affordable, and to top it off ......the most amazing cinnamon rolls and cookies baked fresh every day!

Great, fresh food with amazing cinnamon rolls. Staff is always nice and service is always quick. Calm and peaceful atmosphere hidden in the aves. Can’t recommend enough!
